This entrepreneur by the name the Whitney Wolfe is the one that is giving lots of people a dilemma with choosing dating apps. There have been surveys that talked about how Bumble is much more of a dating app as opposed to Tinder which typically leads to casual experiences.

People that are serious about using a dating app for the purpose of finding a long-term relationship are going to take interest in what Whitney Wolfe offers with Bumble. It appears that Bumble may be the new app that is giving people a chance to get to know one another quicker. Women have the ability to build better relationships when they look at what is happening through a Bumble app. This is what Whitney Wolfe created to give women the opportunity to make the first move. She has a company that has about 35 employees, and it is apparent that she is planning to grow on a global scale.

The other app that she co-founded, Tinder, has been around longer than Bumble so it is naturally one that is at the top of the dating apps, but Bumble is quickly rising. Meet Kim Dao’s Sister Rachel

Kim Dao’s sister Rachel visited her to pick up a suitcase that Kim Dao didn’t think would ship well to Australia from Japan.  Her sister is going back to Austrailia for a month. Before going out, Kim Dao’s sister made her some dish that looked like egg roll, some shrimp, and tofu. Kim Dao wants a black and white Pokemon varsity jacket very much. She has checked almost everywhere for it. If it is not at the Pokémon Store, she is considering buying it at Amazon.com for $130.00, $40 more than the price at the Pokemon store.

She went shopping and out to eat with her sister, Rachel, her boyfriend Tecchan, and his brother Toph. They stopped at the Pokemon Store where the jacket was sold out. They went Ikebukero shopping. The foursome saw all types of stuffed animals. There was a stuffed Pikachu with a pouch in the back and some small Pinkachus that came with a keyring. Everyone got a pink Pokemon ball.

Kim Dao and her group found a place to eat in the mall. Everyone got to grill their own food at the table. You pour your own cooking oil to grill. Squid, for example, and add butter on the top. Kim Dao had gotten raw chicken with an egg and some noodles that she grilled. Earlier, there were some samples of what the meals look like completed. Kim Dao started running out of mayonnaise as she tried squirting some on the top of her grilled chicken.

The Rise of EOS

Around seven years ago, cylinder-shaped lip balms in pastel shades started to show up at virtually every supermarket and drug store. EOS lip balms became pretty popular at Walmart, Target and Walgreens, and the editors at Allure and Cosmo have even featured EOS on several occasions. The lip balms became even more appealing to the public when celebrities like Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian started using EOS lip balm.

EOS, which stands for Evolution of Smooth, also sells hand lotions and shaving creams, and is committed to providing natural and organic products to consumers. The founders of EOS have been pretty quiet about their marketing strategies until now. But now, in an interview with Fast Company, EOS, which is worth $250 million, shares some of the ways it has become the second best selling lip balm in the United States.

Sanjiv Mehra, one of the founders of EOS and manager partner for the company, says that being quiet about the inner workings of the company was a deliberate business move. He also shares (https://www.fastcompany.com/3063333/startup-report/the-untold-story-of-how-lip-balm-upstart-eos-outdid-chapstick) that since EOS was a small startup company, the executives made the decision to focus on creating quality products and finding effective ways to distribute them. Now that EOS has grown significantly, Mehra asserts that consumers need to know more about the company and its values.

Kline Research states that EOS has singlehandedly been responsible for the growth of the oral care industry. Currently, EOS sells more than 1 million products per week, and the future looks bright for the company, since the lip care market around the world is set to be worth around $2 billion by the year 2020.

Not Slowing Down: Lori Senecal

There is often a single image that people see when they picture an executive. An executive is often seen as a man who is very eloquent and extroverted. He has been in business his whole life, has always known what he has wanted to be, and is capable of making people like him right away. While this might be the case for several CEOs out there, Lori Senecal definitely breaks this mold.

Lori Senecal was born and raised in a small town in Canada. She had a very humble upbringing and had to fight with three other siblings for her parents’ attention. When she was finally able to go to college, she went to McGill University in Montreal. However, she had no inkling of what she wanted to be, even after her first year of classes. When she started to take business classes, however, she knew that marketing was the way to go.

According to crunchbase after graduating with a degree in Commerce, Marketing, and Finance, Senecal joined a small advertising agency and quickly learned that she would have to become much more comfortable talking to people. She would often work with large accounts that required her to talk in from of hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of clients. According to Lori in an interview with Campus US, she had always been an introvert with people she did not know, and she had to be able to change that if she was going to be successful.

Lori quickly gained traction at work. After she started working for McCann Worldgroup she quickly became the co-founder of TAG Ideation and the Global Chief Innovation Officer. She used this role to springboard herself into the President role of McCann in New York. There she was seen as a pioneer in innovation and a thought leader in the industry. From McCann she joined another advertising agency called Kirshenbaum, Bond, Senecal, and Partners in 2009 as the President and CEO. At KBS, she really showed the industry just how different from the typical CEO she could be.

At KBS+, Senecal changed how things were done. She no longer wanted the Company to be run as just another global network of advertisers. These, she thought, had too much of a hierarchy, which stifled creativity. She implemented these ideals and led KBS+ to very successful years while she was in charge in a report by PRNewsWire.

Lori Senecal is not your typical CEO. She is very shy, she comes from a very humble upbringing, and she did not know what she wanted to do with her life until she was into her 20s. However, she knows how to innovate and work with people, and that thrust her into the successful career she is in today. She is currently the CEO of CP+B, and she is showing no signs of slowing down.
